Compared to humans, gorillas have enormous stomachs and intestines that allow them to ferment and digest their vegetarian diet.

A large male gorilla might consume 40lb of vegetable matter a day — an amount that would require hospitalization of a human being.

Two things are essential for optimum human health:

  • cooking (i.e, pre-digestion), and
  • meat.
