I’d be delighted to see smaller class sizes and additional resources invested in our schools. I agree that there are safe ways to reopen schools for in person learning (without use of masks).

Excluding Sweden from the studies is a mistake. It is precisely because they did not lock down that we can learn from their example.

You raise an interesting point about the potential for spread between adults who work in the schools. Just as other essential workers might spread COVID between each other, so might teachers and staff.

We can have more than one goal, because getting parents back to work and providing education for our children are not mutually exclusive.
