No one is asking teachers to volunteer “for a profession where they must die ‘for the sake of the children’,” thank goodness.

People are asking teachers to go back to work teaching the children, in the profession they chose, given that the studies published on school reopenings around the world have failed to find one single case of a teacher contracting COVID from a schoolchild.

Not one.

Sorry about the worthless piece of trash thing. Although my own teaching career hasn’t been as bad as that, it is true that teachers and students are often collateral damage in someone else’s political struggle.
