Smokers are shamed, especially when they contract lung cancer. There is nothing “singularly unique” about obesity.

Don’t compare incommensurate health conditions. Obesity and breast cancer are different things.

Your blame shifting might generate Medium claps and sell your book, but it’s a dangerous, irresponsible approach to helping your readers improve their health.

I agree that counting calories is nonsense, and that self-interested misinformation from seed oil and cereal corporations is making Americans fat.

I’m not sitting around expecting those corporations to change their ways or solve my problem. I’m not expecting my doctor to do it, either.
