Your experience sounds like the opposite. You fill your void will male companionship, and you describe how there are many men that are capable of filling that void for you.

Maybe you’ve had other experiences in which you’ve “filled your own void,” but you aren’t recounting them in your article.

So, I’m wondering what convinces you of this?
