You cited BLS data on income, which is not the same as money.

Men have higher incomes.

Women have more money to spend because they receive payments from men that are not counted as income in the BLS data.

Your point about single women do not have discretion over spousal income is only true for those single women that are not collecting alimony and/or child support from their former spouses. But I get your point.

We do agree that I know a lot of things about a lot of things.
